Clan Maclean Scottish Gathering 2007

The Annual Scottish Gathering of the Clan Maclean Association will be held again at the Normandy Hotel, Inchinnan Road, Renfrew PA4 9JE (by Glasgow Airport), on Saturday 20th October 2007, and the tickets will cost £30 each.

To make this more of a family occasion, we have again decided to encourage the younger generation. This being the case, the ticket charge for those up to 16 years will be £15.

The Normandy Hotel is only a five-minute taxi ride from Glasgow Airport and also from Paisley Gilmour Street Railway Station. It is also easy to reach by car (10 minutes West of Glasgow on the M8) and there is good and free parking.

Accommodation is available in the Normandy Hotel at a special rate for the Gathering of £30 per person sharing, or £40 single, bed and full Scottish breakfast.

Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis and you should quote “Maclean Gathering”. Rooms have been block booked and will only be held until 4 week prior to the event – so please book in good time.

As usual the Gathering will start with a Reception at 6.30pm followed by Dinner and an address from the Chief, after which, there will be a short break before the entertainment and dancing. Charlie Kirkpatrick will provide the music and the Largs Folk Group will sing for us, once again.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held in the hotel at 4pm.

Please make every effort to come to the Gathering and bring your friends, as we really need to increase numbers otherwise we may lose the venue.
